The 160th winner of the St Leger, held on Wednesday 11th September 1935 over 1 mile 6 furlongs and 132 yards of Town Moor, was Bahram, a bay colt by Blandford out of Friar's Daughter, owned by HH Aga Khan III. A field of 8 runners contested the race which was worth £6,500. (Equivalent to £427,000 in 2017)
